Funding for the Telecommunications Relay Service
Final Order Entered: 1. The TRS surcharge shall remain at one cent ($0.01) per month. 2. Carriers shall continue to remit the TRS surcharge monthly via the online portal established by the Commission. 3. A copy of this Order shall be served on all local exchange carriers and commercial mobile radio service providers in Kentucky. 4. This case is closed and removed from the Commission's docket.
Order Entered: 1. The Commission opens this proceeding to conduct a formal review of the TRS fund to determine whether a change in the surcharge is warranted. 2. Any comments shall be filed no later than October 25, 2019.
